Why did the Charlatans give away You Cross My Path on the internet? Because they needed a way to announce that they were back, to grab the attention of onetime fans who had long ago stopped paying attention to the group.
The Charlatans teamed up with Xfm again to become the first UK band to release an album completely free to download via a radio station.

Free Lovedrug music
One of my favorite bands Lovedrug are in the middle of recording their new record. They are offering up 4 of the songs for free. Two of the songs I would consider some of the best stuff the band has ever recorded. One of them called "Pink Champagne" kind of has a Kings Of Leon feel to it. If you are in the market for some new grooving music to add to your collection then you should check them out.
