Keggs & Eggs served us no Breakfast

Yesterday we decided to take part in 93.3 KTCL’s Keggs & Eggs. When I say we I mean Jesus, Nick and myself. We arrived outside of Lodo’s Bar and Grill around 4:10 am. The doors supposedly opened at 7:00 am. But in my opinion they opened a little sooner. What a journey it turned out to be. I ran into other friends who arrived much too late to have any chance at getting in to see. Under A Blood Red Sky (a U2 cover band) The Flobots ( a local band...the band I really wanted to see) and finally Goldfinger. I managed to leave the line and head into The Giggling Grizzly to hang out with a few of those unlucky friends that lost the fight. But I never lost sight of the mission at hand. When I decided to make it back to the line we were at the head of the class. I thought for sure we would make it in time to catch all the bands in action. 2 hours later we were still stuck at the front of the line. The Fire Marshall decided to show up and regulate. After many hours of waiting around 10:45 we finally made it in. In time to catch Goldfinger and Goldfinger alone. They put on a good show. But I was still disappointed at knowing that we were short changed. So many people cut in line. Leaving us left out in the cold. We got there early enough that we should have seen all three bands. But the greed of many individuals who didn’t deserve to get in and see the bands. GOT IN!!

Oh well at least we made the most of it. In the next few days i will post the pictures from our extravaganza!!
